Susquehanna University's Small Press class of Fall 2018 is launching two original chapbooks with Kokoro Press! We will be accepting poetry, prose, and hybrid
compositions.
One submission will be chosen for the poetry chapbook and one for the prose chapbook. Submissions are encouraged to reflect Kokoro Press' mission statement in a creative and unique way. 
Let exploration begin with your word and will.

Submission Guidelines

Masthead

Kokoro Press is accepting submissions for poetry and prose of fiction, nonfiction, and hybrid compositions. Submission is open to all Susquehanna University students. See the submission guidelines below for each.

 

Prose:

18-44 pages

Double spaced

Times New Roman 

One-inch page margins

Paginated

 

Poetry:

18-44 pages

Single spaced (unless spacing is crucial to the piece)

Times New Roman (unless font choice is crucial to the piece)

One-inch margins

Page numbers

 

Writers may submit an Artist Statement regarding themselves as a writer and how their piece relates to our theme on a separate document. This is optional. 

 

The DEADLINE for submissions is October 18th by 11:59 PM.

Writers will receive feedback on their piece by October 31st.
